BUSIEST DAY OF THE YEAR FOR CRUISE SHIPS ON SCILLY
Today is the busiest day of the year for cruise ships visiting the Isles of Scilly.
Three vessels with a total of 1,600 passengers are due to visit Tresco and St Mary's during the course of the day.
The largest of these is Magellan, which carries over 1,000 passengers who, along with passengers from Minerva will be exploring both islands.
Passengers from the smallest ship, the Corinthian, will visit Tresco alone.
Scilly has a total of 52 cruise ships scheduled for 2016.
Magellan is due in again on 12 August and 9 September while Corinthinan will make the last of its seven scheduled trips to the Islands on Thursday.
