WW1 PLAY OPENS TO RAPTUROUS RECEPTION
St Mary's Theatre Club's latest production In The Pink has opened to rapturous reviews.
The show, based on real-life Scillonian accounts of the First World War, started its run at the Town Hall last night.
Audience member Barbara Simpson said that she and her friend had both "blubbed all the way through", while Nigel and Carol Young called it the "best Theatre Club production" they had ever seen.
The play is performed again tonight at 8pm at the Town Hall (doors open at 7.15pm).
