PRINCE CHARLES MADE £20.5m FROM DUCHY LAST YEAR
Prince Charles made £20.5 million from the Duchy of Cornwall during the last financial year.
The Duchy, which includes most of the Isles of Scilly, pays for the private and official expenditure of the Duke and Duchess of Cornwall. Created in 1337, it comprises land, property and investments.
The Prince's income increased by 3% from last year, while his tax bill rose by £531,000 to just over £5 million.
He also received £1.4m in funding from the Sovereign Grant and government departments over the period.
