HEALTHWATCH ISLES OF SCILLY PRAISED FOR ITS WORK
Healthwatch Isles of Scilly has been highly commended for its work in the community at the Annual Healthwatch England awards held in Nottingham.
There were over 140 entries submitted from Local Healthwatch for the 2016 annual awards.
Manger Carol Clarke said: “It has been a busy year for Healthwatch Isles of Scilly. Moving office to an accessible and convenient position has meant that we have been able to provide an information hub for the community.
“We have increased the range of information we have available at the office, covering a number of topics; we have information points at St. Mary’s Health Centre and new information folders for off island surgeries.
"We have tried to reach all members of our community whatever their location or demographic group, and wherever they might think to look.”
'Paul Charnock, Chair of Healthwatch Isles of Scilly said “as the smallest Healthwatch in England, it is great to be recognised for our work.”
