Scilly Laughs organiser Julie Jepson has promised that the show will be a "night full of giggles".

The festival, featuring the "creme de la creme of the live UK comedy circuit", will play four islands in four days starting on Saturday.

Julie said: "We're delighted to be returning for our second year of Scilly Laughs Comedy Festival. We are bringing with us three of the top comedians from the UK comedy circuit and we guarantee a night full of giggles all for just a tenner.

"We have a brilliant raffle with great prizes at each show with all proceeds going to Cornwall Air Ambulance again. Last year we raised £500!"

Scilly Laughs was started by Julie and Jo Davies with the aim of bringing more entertainment to the islands.

This year's festival features Julie, Phil Jerrod, Laura Alex and Joanna Neary.

She added: "We're so excited to be the most SouthWesterly comedy festival in the UK. People should go along because we don't want them to miss out on the best night out of live comedy that they will have all year!"

The dates are as follows:

Penzance Fri 10th,

St Mary's Sat 11th,

Tresco Sun 12th,

St Martin's Mon 13th,

St Agnes Tues 14th June 2016.

All shows start at 7.30pm and supper boats will be running from St Mary's.
