MISSING SKUNK FOUND ON BEACH
The missing skunk from Tolman Animal Kingdom is safe and back home.
Albino skunk, Bonnie (although reports at the time had her named Milli), escaped in March while out on a walk with her owner.
She was finally spotted by GP Dr Ross and his son Finlay on the beach at Pendrethan.
Tolman owner Adam Smith said: "Dr Ross rang Heiki [Dorn, vet] and we went down and found some burrows. We set traps and I went down three times in the night but nothing, then Heiki and my worker Ashley went down again and saw her.
"So I went down and we dug for an hour and finally got her. She bit me but she was scared and as she bit me I pulled her out attached to my hand."
Adam said that fellow skunk Clyde is "so happy to have Bonnie back" and that she is enjoying some tasty meals. He added: "I think limpets were boring her."
He added that the site is now double fenced with CCTV surveillance.
A reward of £250 had been offered for information leading to Milli's safe return and £500 for her return in person.
