Fly to the Isles of Scilly from Gatwick via Newquay
Flights depart London Gatwick daily at 9.30am and 8:10pm.
There are additional flights Monday to Saturday at 12:50pm.
Option 1: Flights departing Monday to Saturday at 9:30am arrive in Newquay at 10:30am. The next Skybus flight departs Newquay at 1:50pm, arriving in St Mary’s at 2:20pm.
Option 2: Flights departing Monday to Saturday at 12:50pm arrive in Newquay at 1:50pm. We recommend you book a Skybus flight at 3:50pm from Newquay, arriving in St Mary’s at 4:20pm.
Option 3: Flights departing Sunday to Friday at 8:10pm will require an overnight stay in Newquay.
Option 4: Flights departing on Sundays at 9.30am will require an overnight stay in Newquay.
Option 5: Flights departing Saturday at 8:10pm will mean you require a two-night stay in Newquay as Skybus do not operate on Sundays. You can book your Skybus flight to St Mary's for any time on the Monday but do bear in mind if you arrive too early your accommodation might not be ready so we recommend the flight leaving Newquay at 1:50pm.
At St Mary's Airport there will be transport waiting to take you to your accommodation. If you are travelling to another island the driver will drop you off at the quay to meet your boat.

When the driver drops you off it is advisable to book your return trip to the airport for your day of departure.
Return flights from Newquay to London Gatwick depart daily at 7.30am, Monday to Saturday at 11:05pm and Sunday to Friday at 6:25pm.
Option 1: For 7.30am departures Tuesday to Sunday you will need to book an overnight stay in Newquay.
Option 2: For 7.30am departures on a Monday you will need to book a two-night stay in Newquay.
Option 3: For 11:05am departures Monday to Saturday we recommend you book a Skybus flight from St Mary's to Newquay at 8:55am.
Option 4: For 6:25pm departures Monday to Friday we recommend you book a Skybus flight from St Mary's to Newquay at 12:50pm.
Option 5: For 6:25pm departures on a Sunday you will need to book an overnight stay in Newquay.

Book an overnight stay in Newquay and fly to St Mary's the following day at 1:50pm to give you a relaxing morning and be sure your accommodation is ready when you arrive on the Isles of Scilly.
On the return leg of your journey, book an overnight stay in Newquay and fly from St Mary's at 12:50pm. In the event of bad weather or poor visibility you may have an option to transfer to the boat, Scillonian III, which usually leaves St Mary's at 4.30pm and arrives in Penzance at 7:15pm - there are slight variations owing to tides. Transport between Newquay and Penzance can be arranged in advance to ensure you make your flight home the following day.
