Fly to the Isles of Scilly from Belfast via Exeter
Midweek flights Monday to Friday are available between 31st May and 12th September, and midweek flights either side of these dates are available on Monday, Thursday and Friday only.
Weekend flights are available from 2nd April through to 29th October.
Option 1: Midweek flights depart Belfast at 10.10am and arrive in Exeter at 11:30am. The next Skybus flight departs Exeter at 4:15pm, arriving in St Mary’s at 5:15pm.
Option 2: Saturday flights depart Belfast at 7.00am and arrive in Exeter at 8:20am. The next Skybus flight departs Exeter at 10:40am, arriving in St Mary’s at 12:40pm.
Option 3: Sunday flights depart Belfast at 2.50pm and arrive in Exeter at 4:10pm. As Skybus do not operate on a Sunday you will need to stay overnight in Exeter. The first flight to Scilly leaves at 10:40am on Monday and arrives in St Mary's at 11:40am.
Upon arrival at St Mary's there will be transport waiting to take you to your holiday accommodation. If you are travelling to another island the driver will drop you off at the quay to meet your boat.

When the driver drops you off it is advisable to book your return trip to the airport for your day of departure.
Option 1: Midweek flights depart Exeter at 11.55am and arrive in Belfast at 1:15pm. Booking a Skybus flight from St Mary's at 8:55am will get you to Exeter by 9:55am.
Option 2: Saturday flights depart Exeter at 9.05am and arrive in Belfast at 10:25am. This will require an overnight stay in Exeter so book Skybus for 2:45pm on the Friday.
Option 3: Sunday flights depart Exeter at 4.35pm and arrive in Belfast at 5:55pm. As Skybus do not operate on a Sunday you will require an overnight stay in Exeter so book Skybus for 2:45pm on the Saturday.

The frequency of flights makes trips to the Isles of Scilly from Belfast conducive to both long and short breaks. We believe the best option is to book an overnight stay in Exeter either side of your islands experience.
Book a flight from Belfast Sunday to Thursday and spend the rest of the day exploring Exeter. Have a relaxing evening and come to Scilly the following morning feeling refreshed on the Skybus flight at 10:40am.
Book a return flight from Exeter to Belfast on any day except Monday and spend the evening in Exeter, having flown from St Mary's at 9:55am. In the event of bad weather or poor visibility you may have an option to transfer to the boat, Scillonian III, which usually leaves St Mary's at 4.30pm and arrives in Penzance at 7:15pm - there are slight variations owing to tides. Transport from Penzance to Exeter can be arranged in advance to ensure you make your flight home the following day.
